Description
Course duration and delivery:
Completion of a series of online training modules and knowledge assessment, taking approximately 3-4 hours to complete and a full day in-class practical training and assessment.
Pre-requisites:
– The physical ability to complete 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor and 2 minutes of continuous CPR on an infant manikin.
– Minimum age 15 years
– In order to complete this course, you must be able to:
- Give a clear verbal report of an incident
- Understand verbal instructions
- Read and understand written instructions
- Write an incident report
Certification:
On successful completion of the course, students will be provided with a Statement of Attainment that includes the following:
HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 – Provide first aid
